Usually you are the one who is supposed to pay when using a public toilet to relieve yourself of the excess fluids, but in New Delhi it's the other way around.

It pays to use a toilet in southern India, as residents are earning close to a dollar a month by using public urinals, a scheme launched by authorities to promote hygiene and research in rural areas.

Dozens of people are queuing up to use toilets in Musiri, a remote town in Tamil Nadu state, where authorities have succeeded in keeping street corners clean with the new scheme, The Times of India newspaper said on Sunday.

People relieving themselves in the open is a common sight in India's rural towns and villages, as basic sanitation still eludes millions.

Be Carefull Where You Use Your Camera Phone

A man from Singapore has been banned from using and owning a camera phone after being caught filming a woman in the airport's bathroom -

Samuel Ong, 19, sneaked into a female toilet at Singapore's Changi Airport earlier this year and used his camera phone to snap shots of a woman from under the cubicle door. The woman caught him and reported him to the police.

Ong, who pleaded guilty, has to do 60 hours of community service, observe a curfew as part of his sentence and continue psychiatric treatment, the Straits Times reported.

Naughty boy. Maybe Iran had a point when they banned all camera phones. Or not.
